Investing Pays Off is a public television series consisting of 15 short video lessons that introduce kids to the world of money, credit, philanthropy - - even starting a business!

Each lesson in this valuable series comes with written materials to help reinforce each of the 15 strategies.  Please feel free to download the written curriculum.  We believe that there is no better way for young people to master these strategies than through guided experiential learning, with real role models like you, who can bring the concepts to life and connect their world to the business world.

You can participate by serving as a mentor, lecturer or coach and by providing hands-on experiences. Thank you for joining us in our most promising and rewarding long-term investment - an investment in the future of our children.

About BUILD

 Build Organization

Businesses United in Investing, Lending and
Development
("BUILD") is a social venture, chartered in September 1999, which bridges the divide between youth in East Palo Alto and Eastern Menlo Park ("EPA") and the business and intellectual resources of Silicon Valley. BUILD empowers youth from low-income communities to excel in the classroom, on the job, and beyond by giving them an education in entrepreneurship.

By encouraging students to develop their own small businesses, BUILD extends traditional entrepreneurial education far beyond the classroom and provides students with real-world business experiences. Intensive involvement of local business and community leaders in mentoring and support of the students, and an operating youth incubator are central and distinctive components of the program.
